The Used - 25th Anniversary Tour - Day 1

It’s rare a 3 night spectacular of anniversaries was a full celebration for the venue and the band. The Utah based emo goats, The Used, came to San Diego, CA to rip through 3 nights of their big 3 albums: Self Titled, In Love and Death, Lies for the Liars. Each night popped off in its own special way. Self Titled - Bert made sure to say “here is the best song ever written” before launching into “Taste of Ink,” and having everyone in the room not miss a word. In Love & Death night was a personal favorite, in my opinion a flawless album and too see “Lunacy Fringe” live was something I thought I’d never see. And the last and final night just the riff of “Pretty Handsome Awkward” reminds everyone why they are still packing rooms all these years later.
