The Legend Ozzy Osbourne Has Passed Away at the Age of 76
The music world is in mourning today. Legendary vocalist Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76. Osbourne has been in the music industry for decades. He was known for not only his solo career but his work with the legendary metal band Black Sabbath.
The musician’s passing comes after his long battle of health issues including a battle with Parkinson’s disease that had led to him being unable to perform that past few years. Osbourne played his last show earlier this month in Birmingham, UK that not only include his last performance with Black Sabbath, but included performances by multiple heavyweights like Metallica, TOOL, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Lamb of God, Halestorm and a rotating supergroup featuring members of Disturbed, Sleep Token, Ghost and many more.
Osbourne is survived by his wife, Sharon Osbourne, and his five children that includes his daughter Kelly Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne. He was surrounded by family and friends during his last moments. The family has asked to respect their privacy during this time.
